# Privacy

Last updated 30 June 2026. Lùc is in private beta; the operating entity and the details below are being finalised. For any privacy question, use the [contact page](/contact/).

This explains what data Lùc collects on luc.so, why, and what you can do about it.

## What we collect

- **Waitlist email:** the address you submit to join the private beta.
- **Contact details:** your name, email, and whatever you write when you use the contact form, plus your agency and topic if you add them.
- **Usage data:** which pages you visit and how you move through the site, measured with PostHog analytics. This runs on the live site, not in development.

## Why we use it

- To run the beta waitlist and tell you when we can offer access.
- To reply when you get in touch.
- To see what's working on the site and improve it.

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on your consent for the waitlist and on our legitimate interest for replying to you and for basic analytics.

## Who else handles it

- **Cloudflare** hosts the site and stores the database that holds your email and messages.
- **PostHog** runs the usage analytics on its European servers.
- **Resend** sends our waitlist and reply emails on its European servers, and holds the waitlist email list.

We don't sell your data or share it for advertising.

## Cookies and analytics

PostHog uses cookies and local storage to measure usage. You can block them with your browser settings or a tracking blocker, and the site still works.

## How long we keep it

- Waitlist emails: until the beta ends or you ask us to remove you.
- Contact messages: as long as we need them to handle your request, then we delete them.
- Analytics: held by PostHog under its retention settings.

## Your rights

You can ask us to show you the data we hold, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Where the GDPR applies you can also object, ask for a copy to take elsewhere, and complain to your local data protection authority. To do any of this, use the [contact page](/contact/).

## Children

Lùc is for people working at businesses. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

## Changes

If we change how we handle data, we'll update this page and the date above.
